Members receive access to all membership research and memoranda, including 50-state legislative updates, analysis of state and federal rulings of interest, and other information, all which are available on the members-only area of the website. Additionally, members are entitled to full voting rights on MVPPA’s lobbying priorities, plus access to the Association’s annual meeting and conference calls.

Benefits of MVPPA Membership
Lobbying – Expert advocacy before legislative bodies and regulatory agencies in all 50 states with experience in communicating with legislative leadership and senior-level regulators about issues affecting the sale of ancillary products, especially on matters related to public policy and compliance.
Legislative Tracking – Electronic monitoring of legislation that may impact the regulation of motor vehicle ancillary products and/or MVPPA member companies. Upon request, we can also track pertinent issues for individual member companies.
Legal Services – MVPPA’s General Counsel reviews relevant case law, administrative opinions, insurance bulletins, and other regulatory guidance documents requiring legal analysis affecting member companies. The General Counsel also corresponds with state regulators about the statutes and rules that impact ancillary products in a given state.
Management Services – Day-to-day management of MVPPA’s business affairs, including scheduling and facilitating teleconferences, special meetings, and the Association annual meeting; serving as custodian of MVPPA funds; handling the invoicing and collection of membership dues; and maintenance of the MVPPA web site.
Information Services – Through our legislative and regulatory tracking efforts, we post summaries of relevant legislation impacting the ancillary products industry, administrative bulletins or regulatory opinions that affect our members, and other newsworthy items. This information is made available only to members through a password-protected component of web site. In addition to the online database, the Association has regular conference calls to discuss pending legislative or regulatory changes that impact member companies.
